About Weybourne Hall Park

The park is leafy and quiet, set in woodland overlooking the sea. It has around 20 single-storey, well-spaced lodges and chalets, attracting young and old alike. There is ample parking right outside the lodge.

About Weybourne and further afield

Weybourne is a small village with lots going for it! The stunning church is the village centrepiece, just opposite The Ship Inn, serving excellent food, plus corner shop, post office and tea-rooms. The shingle beach is a five-minute walk away, while steam trains call at picturesque Weybourne station where time has stood still; it frequently attracts film crews and artists.

Just outside Weybourne is the Muckleburgh Collection, the UK’s largest privately owned working military museum – a must for tank enthusiasts of all ages! Go to www.muckleburgh.co.uk

The charming Georgian town of Holt is a ten-minute drive and hosts a myriad of shops, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and supermarket. In the other direction is Sheringham, a small but bustling market town with wide sandy beaches and the Sheringham Little Theatre – see www.sheringhamlittletheatre.co.uk for forthcoming events.

Steam trains run between Sheringham and Holt along the North Norfolk Railway, a taste of days gone by. See www.nnrailway.co.uk

A little further afield, Cromer has an air of charm and gentility and was once a favoured summer destination for the Victorian and Edwardian gentry. It’s well known for its crab fishing community – you won’t find a fresher, tastier crab sandwich anywhere! Its unspoilt Blue Flag beach stretches for miles and a visit to The Pavilion Theatre on Cromer Pier is a must – www.cromer-pier.com to see what’s on.

The National Trust houses of Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall and Sheringham Park are nearby – www.nationaltrust.org.uk - as are The Norfolk Broads. Further up the coast is the birdwatchers’ paradise of Cley and Blakeney.
